New SturdiBag Medium Pro 2.0 was demanded by our customers due to size limitations on some airlines.  Designed for all types of safe travel including in-cabin on a plane. 
Thanks to our customer’s insight over many years, modifications to the classic SturdiBag have been engineered to improve functionality, enhance the appearance and to eliminate the need to flex the rods for insertion and removal. The SturdiBag Pro 2.0 is now fully machine washable! Other enhancements:
  • Luggage handle loop
  • Locking Zippers for security and to work easily with zipper security clip
  • Handle made from animal free quality leather-look padded material
  • Snag-free hook/loop closures will not grab or collect hair or fur

  • Cleaning instructions for SturdiBag Pet Carriers:

    Hand wash with non-bleach detergent or dish soap.  Before washing no need to remove rods that create arches but do remove pad (machine wash pad separately), baseboard and the two horizontal roof rods.  To remove loose hair and debris before washing use a vacuum with a soft brush. Use a stiff brush to remove hair caught in the hook/loop. Use warm soapy water and wipe inside and out with a soft cloth.  Rinse. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight. 

    Can I wash my SturdiBag in the washing machine?

    Machine wash on gentle cycle in cold or warm water: To remove loose hair and debris before washing use a vacuum with a soft brush. Use a stiff brush to remove hair caught in the hook/loop Before washing, remove all parts including zipper clips, shoulder strap, pad, baseboard, the 3 rods that create arches and the two horizontal rods roof rods. Use a stiff brush to remove hair caught in the hook/loop. Turn inside out before placing in washing machine. Hang to dry.

    * When dry, first re-insert the 3 rods that create the arches before replacing the other parts.
